Hello my lovely escapists, today I'm honoured to have the talented Cassandra Rose Clarke on my blog, talking about her latest book, The Wizard's Promise. It is no secret that I love what this lady pens down. I was blown away by The Mad Scientist's Daughter (read my review here) and then I read The Assassin's Curse and The Pirate's Wish. (read my reviews here and here). However, with the book's completion, the magic did not end there. Those who have read this series would know, how intricate and deep the world setting was, so Cassandra wrote another story on the same world. Squeal!!!
I know, it's hard to contain my excitement. Here's a cover and a blurb for you.
THE WIZARD'S PROMISE (The Hanna Duology #1) by Cassandra Rose Clarke
All Hanna Euli wants is
to become a proper witch – but unfortunately, she’s stuck as an
apprentice to a grumpy fisherman. When their boat gets caught up in a
mysterious storm and blown wildly off course, Hanna finds herself
further away from home than she’s ever been before.
As she tries to get back, she learns there may be more to her apprentice master than she realized, especially when a mysterious, beautiful, and very non-human boy begins following her through the ocean, claiming that he needs Hanna’s help

So here it goes
So, when given a chance, I asked if I could get a pictorial description on The Wizard's Promise. So here you go.
This is a book about a girl named Hanna. She wants to be a witch but her parents want her to be a fisherwoman instead.
She’s apprenticed to a fisherman named Kolur. He’s perpetually grumpy.

She and Kolur set out on a three-day fishing trip. A storm blows in…
…and their ship turns up in a port several days’ sail away. You know what that means!

During the course of her adventure, Hanna encounters…

Mean sailors

Best friends

Monsters

Yaks

And a lord of the Mists determined pass through the boundaries between worlds.
Permanently.
She also meets Isolfr. He’s not human.

Nah. More like

Crossed with

And together, they’ll save the world.

Hopefully.
Now, doesn't that pique your interest?
