Feature and Follow (10)

Q:HAVE YOU HAD A CHARACTER THAT DISAPPOINTED YOU? oNE THAT YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH AND THEN "BROKE UP" WITH LATER IN IN EITHE THE SERIES OR A STAND-ALONE BOOK? TELL US ABOUT HIM OR HER.

This is such a difficult question. I usually tend to love love characters more as I get to know them more.However, charcaters which disappoint you also abound. Right now I can think of a few which bother me.

Nora from Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

When I read the fist book, I thought she wasn't the brightest blub of the packet but as the series has moved on, she seems to be getting worse and worse. Now I'm convinced that she is out to kill herself and others who try to help her. I can't help but wonder why Patch likes her. She could die and I won't bat an eyelash.

Eugenie and Kiyo from Dark Swan Series by Richelle Mead

Seriously Eugenie? I mean the decisions she has taken just makes me cross as crabs. This may have something to do with the fact that I adore Dorian but regardless how can she keep flipping between men like that?In the span of two days too. In Thorn Queen, I thought she may have redeemed herself, ofcourse she proved me wrong.Old habits seldom die.

Don't even get me started about Kiyo. After what he did in Iron Crowned I would have perosonally strangled him if I could. I was also under the impression that he was an okay fellow, slightly annoying but a just a little competition for Dorian (not that he was has any chance of winning). But now, OMG, what a b****** $%#*%!
All I have for him are words I would rather not utter.

Rose from Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.

I think Richelle has a talent of making readers hate her characters. Rose was such a kick-ass characater. She was so giving, brave and loyal. She was immature, insensible and rash but I saw all this as space for character development. As the series moved on I saw changes and was impressed with how she was growing however by the end of the series she is still rash, insensible and immature but she her other qualities have now being selfish, self-centered and idiocy. She uses people around her to gain what she want and 'keeps pushing her guilt aside'.

This question made me bloody thirsty and sent me ranting. Do know any characters who make you blood thirsty?
